Pack Walks
A fully inclusive adventure for your pup — complete with paw wiping, water top-ups, feeding (if requested), and plenty attention! We’re happy to accommodate any personalized needs to ensure your dog feels right at home.
Group walks are thoughtfully organized by neighborhood, with pickups and drop-offs scheduled just minutes apart. This helps your dog ease into the group, enjoy some social sniffing, and gradually build confidence around distractions – all while staying safe and engaged.
Trained, fully vaccinated pups over the age of one are welcome to join the pack! We offer both on-leash and off-leash options, tailored to your dog’s comfort and ability.
Private Walks
Some of our furry friends love to get all the attention and are much more selective and specific with their needs.
A private walk provides your dog with a much more calm and tailored walk, designed to support their individual needs and give them the fresh air and exercise they want and need.
We design private walks that take your dog into new and exciting areas, exercising their body and mind.
Drop-in Visits
Drop-ins are the perfect service for any animal (cat, dog, and any other pet) that will be home alone for extended periods of time. We take time to play and care for your pet, from bathroom breaks, food and water refills, quality time and handling, as well as any other requests you may acquire based on their specific needs.
We love all animals from furry friends to birds, lizards and snakes!
Doggy Daycare
Give your pup a fun-filled day of play, socialization, and care at Active Furiends! Our doggy daycare which is home styled provides a safe and engaging environment where dogs can interact, exercise, and enjoy plenty of attention. Whether your furry friend loves group play or prefers a more relaxed setting, we tailor the experience to suit their needs.
With structured activities, rest periods, and supervision, you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in great hands while you’re at work or handling your day. We focus on safety, enrichment, and fun, ensuring your dog comes home happy and tired after a full day of engagement.
House Sitting/
Pet Sitting
This service is an excellent choice for those pets who require care for longer periods of time and are far better in a home environment.
Our sitters specialize in the best care for pets of all shapes, sizes and behaviors and accommodate to all their needs according to your direction and request. In-home care provides an endless number of benefits including: less stress for pets and owners alike, enforcement of a usual routine, better options and care for senior or reduced mobility animals or reactive pets. Care for stay-at-home pets that do not require outdoor time or pets that don’t yet have all their shots, as well as support and options in case of a house emergency someone is present while you are away.
Pet Boarding
Welcome to your pet’s home away from home! Our boarding services are provided by certain team members in a cozy, clean, and safe space designed for comfort and care. As experienced pet professionals, we treat every furry guest like family – with plenty of love, personalized attention, and all the comforts they’re used to.
Whether your pet is staying for one night or an extended visit, we tailor their care to match their routine and needs. From potty breaks and playtime to custom mealtime schedules and cuddle sessions, we make sure your pet feels secure, relaxed, and happy.

Pup Ventures
Weather & Season dependent: Spring & Summer
This is an opportunity for your pup to embrace their wild side out in the Canadian Rockies while socializing with other furry pals. These are 4-6 hour adventure hikes which are currently offered on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
- Pick up and drop off at home
- Water is provided periodically throughout the hike
- Group pictures
- Updates will be sent out before and after hikes (based off of service connection)
- Booties and sweaters are recommended on colder days
*Requests can be made for a different day of the week*
Doggy Lake Days
Hot spring/summer days are here and there is no better way for your dog to enjoy the weather but to go swimming with their pals at one of our Canadian lakes. Our water lovers or new swimmers this is the perfect opportunity to spend time outdoors. These are 4-6 hour lake days which are currently offered on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Includes:
- Treats and water
- Toys for fetching
- Rinsed and dried pups for when they return home
- A happy and tired out pup(s)
Dog Training
At Active Furiends, we offer a range of personalized dog training options tailored to meet your pup’s unique needs – whether you’re working on basic obedience, raising a well-socialized puppy, or addressing complex behavioral concerns.
In-Home Obedience Training
Our one-on-one sessions take place in your home and neighborhood, providing a familiar and low-stress environment for your dog to learn. We focus on real-life skills like leash manners, recall, jumping, and more, helping you build a strong and respectful bond with your pup through consistency and clear communication.
Puppy Training
Start your puppy off on the right paw! Our puppy training is designed to guide you through essential early-stage learning, including crate training, socialization, bite inhibition, and basic commands. Sessions also include owner education to set your puppy up for long-term success.
Behavioral Training
For dogs dealing with fear, anxiety, or reactivity, our behavioral training is led by experienced professionals specializing in behavior modification. We work with you to understand your dog’s triggers and create a practical, step-by-step training plan that supports lasting change in a compassionate, structured way.
